With all of the pressure you face in your home, at your job, and even as a parent, it’s no wonder that we all sometimes need a break. There’s plenty of science that suggests creating a haven in your bedroom can lead to better sleep and calmer nights, but did you know that fresh flowers in your bedroom can actually positively affect your mood?
Many us reserve fresh flowers for public spaces in our home such as an entry way or a dining room. These spaces are brightened by the presence of flowers and tend to evoke feelings of happiness. But wouldn’t it be nice to wake up to flowers to help start your day off right, or to help improve our mood at the end of the day? Flowers are generally inexpensive, so they allow you to change a piece of your bedroom décor often without breaking the bank. And chances are good that you will receive some in the next couple of days. You could also try adding a flowering plant to your bedroom. Having live plants in your home encourages fresh oxygen and can help to purify your environment.
And let’s not forget, flowers can add a little romance to the end, or the start of your day! Bom chicka wah wah.
